Introducing "Personal Privilege"
"I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend." - Thomas Jefferson
With everything on the planet being over-politicized, we decided to go in a different direction. (Yes, we're still a government affairs firm)
We've started a new endeavor called "The Personal Privilege Podcast", a political podcast that discusses everything but politics. Each episode we'll talk with a Texas policymaker about things in their life besides partisanship and politics. For fellow Capitol workers, it's a chance for us to learn more about the people we (someday) pass in the halls every day. More importantly, The Personal Privilege Podcast will hopefully show us all that there's more to life than the pettiness that sometimes comes with politics.
For our inaugural episode, we were lucky enough to sit down with the Chairman of the House Public Education Committee, Dan Huberty.
